Compare PDF versions by meaning, not page by page.

Select two or more text-based PDFs in Chrome. Aelipsis finds material changes in dates, amounts, scope, and obligations, then shows the exact excerpts behind each finding.

What to compare

Add two to six text-based PDFs, or combine a PDF with a browser page or pasted note. This works for revised proposals, policies, agreements, schedules, and terms.

What to inspect

  • Changed numbers, dates, names, thresholds, and deadlines.
  • Added or removed responsibilities, exceptions, and exclusions.
  • Conflicting language across more than two versions.
  • Evidence excerpts that let you verify the finding in context.

What it is not

Aelipsis is not a pixel-level redline and does not claim every formatting edit. It is designed to surface differences that can change a decision, with provenance visible.

Current limits

PDFs need extractable text. Scanned pages require OCR before comparison, and complex layouts can reduce extraction quality. Aelipsis identifies incomplete coverage rather than presenting it as complete.
